Abbie Charrier

Camp Director

 

Abbie graduated Cum Laude from Thomas College with her Bachelors of Science in Sport Management. At Thomas she played Field Hockey, was a three year captain for the Terriers and was named to the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad three times. She also served as a Student Ambassador and Student Athlete Advisory Committee member all four years at Thomas. She also coaches Waterville High School Varsity Field Hockey. 

Abbie grew up in coastal Maine, attending adventure and sports camps. She has years of experience coaching at field hockey camps and clinics and is currently coaching at Waterville Senior High School. Abbie joined New England Sports Camps in March, 2017.

Patrick Guerette

Chief Operations Officer

 

Patrick recruits top quality coaches to help insure the mission of providing quality instruction and diverse traditional camp experiences is met throughout the summer.

 

At the University of Maine Patrick ran Varsity Track & Field and Cross country and earned his Bachelors of Education in Kinesiology & Physical Education then his Masters in Exercise Science. 

 

Patrick's fifteen plus years in the camp industry include playing various leading roles in Sport Specialty Camps, Day Camps, Overnight Camps, Adventure Based and Recreational Camps, and over five years coordinating teambuilding & challenge course activities for youth to adults, including college & high school sport teams.  Founder of the Maine Pond Hockey Classic and Quarry Road Summer Race Series he has also coached youth Hockey and Track & Field.

 

Patrick grew up playing every sport possible and continues to enjoy running, biking, swimming, and golf as well as participating in organized leagues for Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, Flag Football and Softball.
